Onshape Units

Onshape comes with a system for managing units. principia MBS adjusts to those units and therefore you should take care of the correct setting. You can define your preferred units either in your account settings under Preferences/Units, or you define them for a single Onshape workspace by hitting the three lines next to the document name and select Workspace units....

World Coordinate Frame

Whenever we reference World in this user guide, we refer to the absolute coordinate frame of your assembly. This coordinate frame has its origin in Origin (found in tree and 3D window as a single point) and is oriented with the orientation system on top of your 3D window. It serves as an inertial system and cannot be moved.
